Payroll Technician
The job of Payroll Technician is preparing and entering monthly payrolls for certificated and classified employees; monitoring payment of employee taxes, benefits, and voluntary deductions; preparing and maintaining payroll records, files and reports and submitting quarterly payroll reporting if requested by CBO. Assisting in the coordination of benefits administration and communicating with staff regarding payroll and benefits. Preparing reports for use in negotiations by the CBO and the Executive Director.
Incumbents in this classification provide students and staff with fiscal services which in turn directly supports learning.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience with payroll processing and reporting is required. Experience in school payroll systems is highly preferred. Experience with "In House" payroll systems is desired. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Please scan and attach the following documents to your application:
