SUMMARY:
Kentfield hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate HR Assistant to support daily Human Resources operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role assists the HR director and handles employee onboarding, maintaining personnel files, supporting payroll and benefits administrations, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Keeps track of regulatory requirements such as licensure and certifications, working closely with scheduling
Provides administrative support to HR department, filing, projects, compliance and running reports
Support with payroll processing, benefits, and performance management administration
Assists with new hire orientation as well as onboarding (background checks, onboarding paperwork, benefits, etc)
I-9 verification and maintaining I-9 files
Performs customer service responsibilities, answering employee requests and concerns regarding HR policies and procedures
Maintains accurate employee data to ensure integrity of HR and employee
Changes in salary, title, forms, benefits, etc.
Assists with recruitment activities such as creating and managing requisitions, interviews, and candidate relations
Knowledge of HIPAA, The Joint Commission, state and federal regulations relating to Human Resources
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in Business Administration, or related field or aPHR/PHRDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
