Internal Communications Professional
Payrate: $66.00 - $68.00/hr summary:
We are seeking an experienced internal communications professional to provide temporary coverage in the Corporate Affairs department. This individual will support key HR communications priorities, including employee value proposition rollout work, annual enrollment and benefits change communications, and strategic communications advising for HR partners. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and trusted adviser who can quickly understand complex business and HR issues, build strong partnerships, manage multiple priorities, and translate information into clear, actionable communications for employees and people leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR and Corporate Affairs leaders and cross-functional teams to plan and deliver clear, effective employee communications.
- Support priority work including employee value proposition rollout, annual enrollment and benefits change communications, HR Technology & Workforce Strategy change communications, and CHRO and HR All Staff materials.
- Provide communications counsel, draft and edit content, and coordinate communications across email, Teams, the intranet, presentations, and digital signage.
- Manage stakeholder and communications-calendar coordination for large employee audiences.
- Develop and coordinate communications for employee benefits and other people-related programs across various channels.
- Advise HR partners on communication strategy, audiences, timing, channels, and clear calls to action for large employee audiences.
- Ensure all materials are clear, accurate, on brand, and aligned with internal communication standards.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience, or Master's degree and 4 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, or Associate's degree and 10 years of experience, or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience.
Skills:
- Internal and employee communications:
Excellent writing, editing, message development, and channel strategy skills across various platforms. - HR and change communications:
Experience communicating complex HR, benefits, policy, organizational, or change-related information to large employee audiences. - Strategic stakeholder management:
Ability to advise senior leaders and cross-functional partners, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $66.00 - $68.00/hr non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
