Windows Server Engineer

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Participation in IT projects, including new system implementations, migrations, and process improvement initiatives, is also part of the role.

• Server & Network Management
  • Proficiently deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Design, implement, and manage Active Directory environments, including GPOs, user/group management, and security best practices.
  • Configure and manage firewalls and network security appliances.
• Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Serve as an expert in Microsoft 365 Enterprise administration, encompassing user management, security, compliance, and service health.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
• Time Management & Documentation
  • Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects or Statements of Work (SOW) development, delivering on time and within scope.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
• Operational Excellence
  • Accurately track time and services performed, ensuring clear accountability.
  • Maintain productivity levels in accordance with agreed-upon specific objectives (KPIs).
  • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, when interacting with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Provide quality service with a strong commitment to user satisfaction.
• Physical Requirements

• Microsoft Platform Systems – Active Directory, IIS, Exchange Online, SharePoint, RDS/Terminal Services and SCCM
• Entra/Azure/Intune and Microsoft Office 365 conversions from on-premise to cloud and supporting cloud and hybrid-cloud instances

• Working Knowledge of Power Shell Scripting
