Senior Project Manager

Our client, a leading organization in government IT modernization, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder engagement abilities, and a strategic mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**   $63.00 to $75.00 per hour

** What's the Job?*
* + Lead the planning, development, and management of large-scale IT modernization projects within the California government sector.

+ Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multi-vendor engagements to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within scope.

+ Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans utilizing tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, JIRA, and Azure Dev Ops.

+ Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.

+ Facilitate stakeholder communication, including executive briefings, steering committee meetings, and status reports.

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum of 5 years of full-time project management experience on large-scale government IT projects.

+ Hands-on experience with project management artifacts, including PAL stages 2-4.

+ Proficiency with project scheduling and collaboration tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Jira, and ADO.

+ Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies, with experience managing data migration and system integrations.
