Configuration Manager

Configuration Manager – We are looking for a Configuration Manager to support our government customer, the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) in Southern California (China Lake and Point Mugu). This role focuses on configuration and release management for enterprise applications used in weapons development and testing.

• Serve as the interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues.
• Assist the GDIT Program Manager in overseeing the contractor execution of the contract requirements and employment of program/project resources at the customer site.
• Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects.
• Act as the primary liaison between Program Management and other functional groups and resolve any issues regarding configuration management documentation.
• Build and develop application tables, panels, and reports, and code individual modules and complex functions for a client/server enterprise application.
• Integrate software, develop external interfaces, and maintain technical documentation.
• Establish, document, implement, manage, and monitor the release management process in line with overall objectives, and ensure program‑wide compliance for both normal and emergency (break/fix) operations.
• Measure and monitor progress to help ensure application/version releases are delivered in a timely manner and meet expectations.
• Help define exact content and rollout plan for a release, aligned with change management processes.
• Help identify all applicable stakeholders per release, notify, communicate, and manage expectations during planning and rollout.

• BA/BS or equivalent experience; 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience with DoD IT or weapons development programs.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL.
• Familiarity with C# a plus.
• Secret clearance.

Salary Range: $107,744 – $138,000 (subject to experience, location, and contracting requirements).

Work Arrangement: 40 hours per week, no travel required, onsite work at USA, CA Point Mugu.
