Position: IT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance

Duties
* You will plan executes, and recommends actions under general direction from program leadership while exercising independent judgment.
* You will oversee the day-to-day technical operation, maintenance, and security of the program's IT architecture and cybersecurity strategies, and recommends solutions to program leadership regarding technical and/or organizational challenges.
* You will maintain consistent, clear, and continuous communication with all team members and leadership, identifying areas of risk or concern early and often.
* You will direct and mentor a diverse team specializing in configuration and data management (CDM), facilities management, network administration, system administration, information security, COMSEC, and high performance computational engineering.
* You will plan , prioritize, and coordinate work assignments for the team based on program priorities, and collaborates with other teams to ensure requirements are accurately captured and products are delivered on schedule.

* Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final top secret SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 802, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04 (GS-11/12) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following:
1) Understanding of policies, practices and procedures pertinent to security (cyber, traditional, personnel, special access program) and classification standards;
2) Experience deriving IT requirements, planning and executing IT deployments and support, writing a System Security Plan, reviewing system Concept of Operation documents for IT and Cybersecurity, working a Plan of Action & Milestones for a Special Access Program;
3) Demonstrating knowledge of Project Management principles and application with cloud, server, and desktop-based tools;
4) Demonstrating knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools for connected or disconnected environments;
5) Experience managing Information Assurance Vulnerability Management and application of Security Technical Implementation Guide defined boundaries;
6) Direct experience with RMF policy, processes, and tools, and working within JSIG programs as a System Administrator;
7) Experience implementing and supporting RMF as applied within the Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Special Access Programs. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
