Sr Test Engineer

Looking for Sr Test Engineer at onsite US to handle project independently having ability to work with various teams to facilitate testing.

• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
• Collects and analyses data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs
• Documents all problems and assists in their resolution
• Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners

• Provide expertise in the planning, construction, and execution of test scripts/cases
• Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall objectives
• Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.
• Partner with product owner and developers to deliver a quality product to clients;
  Evaluation and reporting of test results

• Experience testing APIs/Webservices and web applications (4-6 Years)
• Experience working on defects tracking tools such as JIRA
• Experience in web services testing, specifically REST API
• Strong in SQL knowledge
• Experience in Data mining & investigation
• Experience of working in Agile, Scrum, and waterfall methodology
• Experience in White box testing
• Experience in Tableau Reporting
• Experience in testing CRM systems
• Experience in Test Automation tools like UFT or Selenium
• Excellent communications skills, both written & verbal.
