Job Description We are seeking a Field Technical Support Consultant II / Onsite Administrator (Print) - OSA Level II to join our team in Mather, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in print device support, hardware troubleshooting, consumables management, and customer service and a proven ability to resolve incidents, perform routine installations and configurations, and maintain high customer satisfaction while following incident, change, and problem management processes.
Responsibilities:
Monitor systems to detect performance issues and resolve technical problems on assigned platforms using established protocols. Identify incident trends, escalate within defined time frames, and follow standard procedures. Conduct routine installations and configurations, assemble and integrate systems/products per standards. Respond to service, product, technical, and customer-relations inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction. Execute approved scripted change management activities while adhering to incident, change, and problem management processes.
Meet daily production goals and contract-required response times. Align work with team strategy, collaborate to enhance operations, and support process improvements. Maintain data confidentiality and support execution of business processes with independent judgment. Complete process-oriented assignments, share technical information, and support department operational plans. Identify and solve varied problems, plan work, and operate with minimal supervision. Onsite Administrator (Print) - OSA Level II Duties:
Manage consumable inventory and ensure availability at customer sites. Replace toner, consumables, and paper; clear paper jams. Assist end users with device functionality and perform initial troubleshooting. Coordinate with HP for software-branded support. Report customer dissatisfaction to CSM/SDM. Collect usage pages per device and swap devices with spares as needed. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Broad knowledge of HP products and services offerings. Core technical competencies in operating systems, networking, and HP applications. Effective communication with technical audiences and first- and middle-level management. Active listening and ability to tailor messages to audience level. Proactive, reactive, and creative problem-solving skills; ability to identify alternatives and set priorities. Technical background sufficient to engage customers and technicians for problem determination and solution implementation.
Basic project management, communication, analytical skills, and ability to suggest operational efficiencies. Ability to manage small projects or programs and contribute to account delivery decisions. Onsite presence in Mather, CA. Daily commute required.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, Higher Secondary, or commensurate experience required. Typically 2-5 years of related experience, preferably in maintenance, quality, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree in a technical field with 4-6 years related experience desired. Work Conditions:
