We are seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer with Java expertise for a contract position based in Westlake Village, California. This role offers a 6+ month engagement supporting automation and services that simplify operations of large-scale distributed systems.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate critical thinking to provide options, recommendations, and actions for resolving issues, mitigating risks, and escalating items
- Drive product excellence by fully incorporating Operations Requirements
- Maintain and troubleshoot provisioning, automation, configuration, integration, deployment, and release processes
- Participate in 24 x 7 global on-call support rotations
- Support business applications, systems integration, web services, backend infrastructure, cloud security, and build & release engineering
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with
* NIX system administration - Experience with Java
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with Ruby
- Experience with Perl
- Experience with Python
- Exceptional customer relationship skills
- Experience managing vendors
- Preferred
- Financial Services industry experience
- Mortgage industry experience
