• Associate's degree
• Fluent in sign language
• NH certification as an educational interpreter, or eligibility with completion of an educational interpreter training/preparation program, or RID/NAD licensure of at least level III, or passing grade on the EIPA assessment.

• Assist deaf or hearing impaired students in interpreting what is being said and enabling communication with students.
• Interpret and support students in resource rooms and general education classes.
