GUSD Offers: $10,200 toward the health, dental, and vision insurance cost of employees Outside Years of Experience Holding Position Title Credited on Classified Salary Schedule Sick Leave Days Vacation Days 14 Paid Holidays (per GUSD Calendar) 2 Floating Paid Holidays

* High School diploma or equivalent
* 2 years of translation/interpretation
* Valid California driver's license required
* Interpreting/Translating Certification preferred
* Strong command of oral and written language usage in both English and Spanish including, but not limited to, correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
* Effective oral communication in both English and Spanish.
* Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
* Ability to manage time effectively to meet professional obligations and deadlines.
* Ability to process high-volume of translating work with accuracy.
* Ability to meet schedules and timelines.
* Knowledge of computer software and web-based software programs (i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Drive).
* Read, write, listen, and speak both English and Spanish.
* Meet scheduled timelines.
* Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
* Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, staff, and public communities.
