Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Attorney to a law office in Encino, California. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in handling civil litigation matters, business transactions, and real estate cases. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced mentor and gain deep exposure to diverse legal practices.

Responsibilities:

- Manage civil litigation cases including drafting motions, pleadings, and demurrers.

- Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with the code of civil procedure.

- Prepare and oversee discovery processes and briefing documents.

- Collaborate on business and real estate transactions, providing legal expertise and guidance.

Requirements

- Must hold a valid attorney license and be in good standing.

- Extensive experience in civil litigation, ideally 5-7 years.

- Proficiency in drafting motions, demurrers, and legal pleadings.

- Strong knowledge of the code of civil procedure.

- Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.

- Experience handling discovery and briefing processes.
