** Description of Work
** SALARY RANGE: $38,574.00 - $63,700.00 The Office of the District Attorney, Prosecutorial District 3, seeks a qualified candidate to provide direct customer service in a busy front desk position and to perform a variety of duties in support of the District Attorney's Office.

** Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Screen callers and visitors, answer inquiries, secure and give information.
* Screen and route mail according to contents of communication including email. Copy, file, and retrieve materials and perform periodic follow-up activities.
* Monitor and manage legal documents and cases via Enterprise Justice.
* Act as a liaison to the public, attorneys, and other government agencies.
* Assist with District Court preparation including gathering reports, issuing subpoenas, and other calendar duties.
* Perform other general administrative responsibilities.##
** Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
/ Competencies
**** Knowledge of:
** court system and procedures; legal terminology; and community resources to refer victims and witnesses.
** Skill in:
** Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; accurately typing 35-40 wpm; and answering a multi-line telephone system.
** Ability to:
** interview to elicit information from victims and witnesses to assure appropriate services; coordinate and schedule the daily operations of the victim and witness program; manage the court appearances of victims and witnesses to ensure their presence in the courtroom when needed; communicate orally and in writing with persons of diverse backgrounds; establish and maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement officers, officials of related agencies and the general public;
and calmly handle stressful situations.
