Position Details

Position Summary

• The Shipper position is responsible for preparation and shipment of all outgoing product. Enters equipment information into appropriate management information systems/records and performs shipping functions for the facility.
• Prepare items to be shipped to both domestic and international locations and completes the required forms and documents
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies; submits Purchase Requests and orders supplies when needed
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
• Determines method of shipment and prepares bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
• Examines shipment contents and compares with records, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, detail oriented.
• Related experience required
• Process all shipments via UPS/Fed Ex/DHL (International shipping a Plus)
• Follow up on shipments if needed
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email, Access.
• Prepare and execute all necessary paperwork involved within the shipping activities
• Capable of identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner
• Processes shipments per instructions on shipping documents
• Responsible to coordinate everyday Shipping
• Previous inbound and outbound shipping experience
• Previous filing and data entry experience.
• Must be able lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be reliable

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour (+ Shift Differential $0.75 per hour, if applicable). Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
