Senior Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to oversee purchasing activities and materials logistics within a manufacturing environment. This role will support all stages of product development by working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure uninterrupted production and efficient procurement operations. This is a hands-on, onsite position requiring strong supplier management, inventory planning, and ERP system expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Manage RFQ and purchase order processes
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers
• Participate in demand planning and S&OP activities
• Analyze inventory levels and maintain appropriate safety stock
• Balance material demand and supply to minimize stockout risks
• Create and maintain purchase orders within the ERP system
• Track supplier deliveries and expedite shipments as needed
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Resolve supplier performance, quality, and delivery issues
• Support material planning and forecasting activities
• Purchase materials and services while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery
• Ensure purchasing activities support production schedules and business objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Associate degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in manufacturing or high-tech production environments preferred
• Experience with MRP systems, including Sage or equivalent ERP platforms
• CPM certification preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
