Our Summer Internship Program (PLOT) offers an opportunity to gain meaningful experience in Operations while building the foundation for a successful career. During this 12-week program, you'll learn from industry professionals, tackle real-world projects, and develop working knowledge of supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics, warehouse operations, and customer service within the agricultural industry. You'll have the opportunity to present your internship learnings directly to leadership.

Successful completion of the PLOT program can also earn you a scholarship between $1,000 and $3,000.

As a Wilbur-Ellis Operations Intern, you'll gain experience supporting the day-to-day operations of a dynamic agricultural distribution facility. You'll work alongside experienced operations professionals to learn how products move through the supply chain while contributing to projects that improve efficiency, service, and operational excellence.

• Responsibilities may include assisting with inventory management and cycle counts, supporting warehouse and logistics activities, analyzing operational data, helping coordinate product movement and customer deliveries, participating in process improvement initiatives, supporting safety and compliance programs, and collaborating with team members across operations, sales, and customer service.

You'll have the opportunity to share your ideas, contribute innovative solutions, and gain firsthand exposure to the operational processes that support our customers and business.

At the conclusion of your internship, you'll prepare and present a final PowerPoint presentation highlighting your project work, key learnings, and overall experience.

• We are seeking a college student pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with an interest in operations and the agricultural industry.
• Overall, we are looking for someone with strong communication and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and a focus on accuracy; the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn; a self-starter who is eager to contribute ideas and collaborate with others; and someone who brings their full self to work each day.

• Exposure to agricultural operations and supply chain management within a leading agribusiness organization
• Experience supporting inventory control, logistics coordination, warehouse operations, and customer service activities
