Job Overview:
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support the daily maintenance and repair operations of a residential apartment community.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with apartment maintenance, general repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to resident service requests. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout apartment units, common areas, and community facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Perform apartment turnovers, including painting, patching drywall, replacing fixtures, and preparing vacant units for new residents.
• Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Repair or replace appliances, lighting fixtures, locks, doors, faucets, toilets, and other apartment components.
• Maintain property grounds, common areas, and maintenance equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
• Communicate with property management regarding repairs, maintenance needs, and work order status.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Experience completing apartment turnovers and responding to maintenance work orders.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common maintenance issues independently.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the workday.
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to the assigned property.
• HVAC or EPA certification is a plus but not required.
