Key impact / value this role will be focused on:

• Develop and drive carrier strategy, includes collaborating with other areas of logistics to align on best practice across the organization.
• Oversee and review existing processes, controls, financials, and KPIs for the carrier operations strategy.
• Identify waste reduction and improvement opportunities as it relates to supplier strategy, sourcing, negotiation, contracting, compliance, cost control, supplier cost, forecasting, system rate management and communication.
• Develop carrier score carding / KPIs. Ensure these KPIs drive change, best practice and efficiency with the company's suppliers.
• Enhance S&OP structure and value for the logistics organization.
• Support carrier acquisition strategy / execution.
• Meet with suppliers, review scorecards, set expectations, etc...
• Develop rate and supplier solutions to win new growth opportunities.
