The Trinity County Resource Conservation District is seeking a Forest Health Program Director to lead and expand our program of implementation, maintenance, and monitoring, and to develop long-term strategies to improve the overall effectiveness of Forest Health practices. This leadership role offers the opportunity to guide projects that improve forest resilience, reduce wildfire risk, and protect the natural resources that our communities depend on.
The Director, under the supervision of our Executive Director, will work closely with staff, partners, agencies, and the local community to advance forest health across the region. The position requires a person who can work effectively in a collaborative environment, is self- directed, is comfortable working independently, and can motivate themselves and their program to a high level of work quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
This is a full-time, fully benefited position with a salary range of $38.00 – 46.20 hourly, DOE.
