Operations Manager, General Management

Overview
Production Managers ensure all production operations are completed to appropriate standards and deadlines. They manage department budgets, forecasts, policies, and personnel administration, fostering teamwork and strong ethics.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and facilitate training and development of staff through coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Conduct associate development, counseling, and the disciplinary process.
- Assist with associates’ diverse issues.
- Ensure associates comply with all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Prepare and conduct written performance appraisals; document and counsel on performance/accountabilities.
- Maintain capacity to support present and future production volumes, including new products, technologies, industry standards, and labor requirements.
- Manage activities, workflow, and scheduling of operations staff and/or functions.
- Analyze new processes and opportunities to further streamline operations for efficiency and quality.
- Communicate with external customers and internal departments to ensure schedule alignment and problem resolution.
- Participate in client meetings and facilitate tours as required.
- Prepare, manage, and be accountable for budgets and goals for one or more departments.
- Interview candidates and make hiring recommendations/decisions.
- Make termination recommendations and conduct terminations as necessary.
- Participate in staff meetings; provide reports to management; research and resolve discrepancies.
- May perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
Optimal
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Excellent PC skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong analytical skills for consolidating and reporting critical information to management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with staff and management at multiple levels.
- Solid organizational skills; ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Detail-oriented; ability to review jobs before they are inserted and after to ensure quality standards are met.
- Self-starter with strong initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment and promote teamwork.
- Flexible to work various shifts, overtime, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding operational environment.
- Some travel required (trade shows, seminars, equipment manufacturers, and other Broadridge facilities).
- Proficient in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing the English language.
Shift: Late Week Night – Wednesday-Friday, alternating every other Saturday, 6:00PM to 6:00AM.
Annual salary range: $86,112 – $100,000, plus shift differential. Eligible for annual bonus.
