Service Center Manager
The role of Service Center Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the busing operations of a specific service center. The Service Center Manager duties include coordinating and supervising procedures across departments, ensuring safety, and managing route budgets. The person in this role communicates with a diverse group of stakeholders, from drivers and bus staff to senior executives and clients. Additionally, they develop busing policies and procedures, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and measure key performance indicators to uphold operational excellence.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the transportation operations for a specific service center
- Develop, implement, and monitor transportation policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Supervise and train transportation staff
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth route flow
- Monitor route budgets and make recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and stakeholders
Education,
Experience and Skills:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- 5-7 years' experience in the transportation industry
- Strong leadership experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with industry safety, state, and federal regulations
Pay range: $110-150k
