Aerospace Sealants and Analytical Lab Supervisor

PPG Aerospace in Mojave, California, is looking for an on-site Aerospace Sealants and Analytical Lab Supervisor to lead lab operations and support quality and production goals. In this role you will a hands‑on opportunity to inspire creativity and collaborate with teams in a dynamic aerospace environment. This position will work primarily on Monday-Friday.

You will work on‑site at our Mojavi, CA facility and report directly to the Quality Manager.

• Make decisions on batch adjustments for application properties and physical properties.
• You will also be responsible for training lab technicians accordingly.
• Drive process improvements to reduce cycle time and enhance lab efficiency.
• Mentor team members, track performance goals, and foster professional growth.
• Communicate and coordinate priorities across shifts.
• Champion 6S standards, minimize waste, and collaborate with manufacturing and distribution for on‑time delivery.
• Address quality‑related issues, verify customer complaints, and implement corrective actions.
• Work with customers regarding approvals, test discrepancies, and new test methods.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
• Work and supervise the analytical lab for all raw material and in‑process batches.

• Two (2) year(s) of supervisory or related leadership experience required.
• Three (3) years of previous experience working in a professional or academic lab environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Ability to wear required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 annually. All offer amounts are determined by length/breadth of applicable experience and current departmental pay equity.
