* The Inventory Control Manager will build and lead the inventory function in a fast-paced flavor manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for designing and implementing inventory control processes that ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in a weight-based system (kilograms, pounds, and units). The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong inventory expertise, team development experience, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Establish and lead the inventory control team, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff

+ Develop and implement scalable inventory control processes and SOPs for a weight-based manufacturing environment

+ Partner with purchasing, planning, production, warehousing, quality, and finance to ensure accurate inventory tracking and replenishment

+ Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and ERP inventory adjustments

+ Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and material variances

+ Analyze inventory data and trends to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement

+ Support month-end and year-end close activities, reporting, and audit readiness

+ Train cross-functional teams on proper inventory handling and system transactions

+ Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

** Qualifications*
* + Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)

+ 3+ years of inventory management experience in a supervisory role, preferably in food, flavor, or chemical manufacturing

+

Experience with weight-based inventory systems and ERP platforms (SAP preferred)

+ CPIM certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

+ Strong Excel and reporting skills

+ Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

+ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

+ Flexibility to report to any company facility as needed, sometimes on short notice
