Location: Escalon
Pride Staff - Up to $23.00/hour - - Responsibilities:
Produce consistent, high-quality welds and pass fillet weld tests to meet production standards;
Operate and setup welding fixtures and minor machines including overhead cranes, forklifts, and hydraulic presses;
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and basic weld symbols, identifying various materials to employ the correct welding process;
Set up fixtures and welders without supervision, following objectives set by the Foreman while maintaining steady workflow;
Identify acceptable welds and recognize suspected problems within a process, alerting supervisors when necessary to maintain high standards
