We are a leading manufacturing company on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist. If you are a precision-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines, ensuring the highest level of quality and precision in all tasks.

Responsibilities:

As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings to understand the specifications and requirements of the product.

2. Programming CNC machines using appropriate codes to ensure the manufacturing process is carried out accurately and efficiently.

3. Operating a variety of CNC machines including mills and lathes, adjusting settings as necessary to maintain optimal performance.

4. Performing regular checks on machinery, identifying any faults or issues and carrying out basic maintenance tasks.

5. Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest quality standards, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.

6. Collaborating with the wider team, including design and production staff, to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of products.

7. Continually seeking ways to improve processes, reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of CNC programming codes, blueprint reading, mill operation, lathe operation, and CNC machine operation.

2. A relevant qualification in a related field (e.g., machining, engineering, manufacturing) would be advantageous.

3. Proven experience in operating a variety of CNC machines, with a strong understanding of their functions and maintenance requirements.

4. Excellent technical skills, with the ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.

5. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

6. The ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.

7. Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

8. A strong commitment to health and safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.
