Material Handler

Location: City Of Industry

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Maintain inventory identifiable by labeling and placing material and supplies in stock and must be able to record keep location of inventory

* Locate material and supplies by pulling and verifying material and supplies list on production order

* Must be accountable for material/supplies distribution and be able to track material locations

* Operate pallet jack and stand up/sit down forklift. (needs to be certified)

* Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks (boxes may way up to 60 lbs)

* Positive attitude - have a positive can-do attitude every day.

* Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Must be able to multitask.

Qualifications:

* Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form is required

* Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

* The employee frequently is required to walk or stand for long periods of time.

* The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
