2 nd  Shift Mechanical Assembly

Responsibilities:

+ Mount finished lenses into frames, securing them using hand tools like screwdrivers and pliers ensuring proper optical alignment and orientation.

+ Verify lens power, axis, and prism using lensometers; check for surface defects (scratches, coatings).to ensure they meet, prescriptions specifications.

+ Adjust, replace, or repair broken frames and lenses

+ Use precision instruments (calipers, lensometers) to measure and verify alignment and prescriptions on lenses

+ Ensure a clean and organized workstation to promote efficiency.

+ Keep accurate records of production goals

Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

+ 1-3 years of mechanical assembly experience

+ Strong motor skills, and manual dexterity

+ Attention to detail.

+ Physical stamina to stand or bend for long periods, working with small parts and handling light to moderate lifting.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong ability to interpret technical work orders prescriptions, drawings and specifications.

+ Ophthalmic industry experience a plus

+ Bilingual Spanish a plus

+ Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members

Schedule Needed:

Monday through Friday 3:30 pm-12:00 am.

** Pay Details:**  $20.25 per hour
