Labourer - Operations and Warehouse Support; Chester

Vale Packaging is a Nova Scotia based packaging company. We are a manufacturer of food packaging. Vale Packaging is seeking a reliable Operations Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Operation and Warehouse in a quick-paced manufacturing environment. We’re looking for individuals who are team-oriented, detail-focused, and ready to contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.

• Load and unload trucks if after normal receiving hours
• Move finished goods from production area and wrap pallets
• Manage scrap and regrind from machines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Load rolls of material onto production machines
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Forklift license
• Previous warehouse experience required an asset
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Innovative with a continuous improvement mindset
• Organized
• Team player with good interpersonal skills

Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
