This position requires proficiency in most Microsoft programs (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and knowledge of GCSS‑A and its ordering systems. The Supply Technician is responsible for ordering parts, compiling and recording production data for large vehicle/industrial establishments, and comparing records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.

• Order parts using GCSS‑A ordering systems.
• Compile and record production data and compare volumes, consumption, quality control, and other production aspects.
• Calculate production factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, scrap, defect frequency, and worker/department production rates.
• Write financial reports based on compiled data, following prescribed formats.
• Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
• Compile detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture.

• Sort and distribute work tickets or material.
• Compute wages from employee timecards and post wage data on payroll records.
