+ Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to create precise and reliable inspection routines.
+ Use a variety of precision inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, to support dimensional analysis.
+ Analyze inspection data and generate clear, detailed inspection reports for internal stakeholders and quality documentation.
+ Troubleshoot CMM programs and equipment issues to maintain accurate and repeatable measurements.
+ Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
+ Maintain calibration records and support compliance with relevant quality standards, including AS9100.
+ Support first article inspection activities and contribute to continuous improvement of inspection methods and documentation.
Essential Skills

+ Strong proficiency in PC-DMIS programming for CMM inspection.
+ Hands-on experience working with Hexagon CMM machines.
+ Solid knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and its application in inspection routines.
+ Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
+ Practical experience using precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
+ Experience performing part inspections in manufacturing environments, including first article, in-process, and final inspections.
+ High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting measurement and program issues.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing industries.
+ Knowledge of CAD software such as Solid Works, CATIA, or similar tools.
+ Experience preparing and reviewing first article inspection (FAI) reports.
+ Familiarity with AS9100 and related quality standards.
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Work Environment
