Chassis Upfitter - Welder, Fitter, Fabricator; Elmira

Pay: CA $21.00-CA $24.00 per hour

As part of the Chassis Upfit Team this individual will:

• Upfitting vocational vacuum trucks and truck chassis
• Layout, fit and weld subassemblies, components and equipment according to specifications
• Welding and fabrication required, mild steel, stainless and aluminum
• Brake press and shear experience required
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Layout and build, Frame mount brackets, water pump systems, drive systems, electrical components (12v systems), hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Repair work and troubleshooting also required

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing workplace considered an asset
• Previous welding experience
• High attention to detail
• Previous experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems considered an asset.
