Operations Manager
Provide oversight for the operations management team including safety, roasting, production, engineering, maintenance, and warehousing along with a strong connection to quality, planning, procurement, logistics, finance, and human resources.
Oversees continuous improvement using lean manufacturing with a strong discipline to systems execution.
Builds strong employee and labor relations to ensure a high-level of engagement.
Achieves plant goals and KPIs through initiatives affecting safety, quality, cost, delivery, people, and sustainability.
Responsible for development and delivery of the annual operating plan (AOP) and the delivery of the plant capital budget.
May be responsible for special projects related to other functional areas.
Orchestrate activities, assignments, and projects to maintain optimal level of customer service for both internal and external customers.
Ensure compliance with all industry and environmental regulatory requirements.
Who You Are:
Strategic:
Must be able to turn plant goals & objectives into actionable & measurable plans. Must know how to influence strategically at all levels.
Lean
Experience:
Lean trained and experience/examples delivering results through lean efforts.
Problem Solving:
High degree of analysis, problem solving and creativity. Specifically, 5-Why.
Seasoned experience in all facets of manufacturing operations including:
Bulk Processing (coffee), Roasting, Filling/Assembly, Warehousing, Continuous Improvement.
Broad knowledge of supply chain process and procedures (manufacturing, distribution, supply planning, engineering, etc.).
Experience in high volume/high mix, multi-shift manufacturing environment.
