Job Summary
We are seeking a Panel Welder in Fontana, CA to support our teams who build great products and contribute to our growth. The role reports to the Production Manager and involves welding and cutting metal and steel pieces using the MIG/GMAW process.
Typical Day- Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials.
- Fabricates items using cutting, burning, and welding techniques.
- Monitors welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged.
- Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
- Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
- Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2-4 years of prior experience in MIG welding.
- Thorough understanding of welding machines and tools, including design, use, maintenance, and repair.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques, principles, and tools needed for technical plans, drawings, models, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in the GMAW process.
- Excellent ability to read and follow assignments given in various forms.
- Ability to read tape measures.
- Basic math skills related to welding assignments.
- Must be able to weld vertical or flat components.
- Requires manual dexterity and stability for precision work.
- Must see details at close range.
- Must lift up to 35 pounds at times.
- Must traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
- Must wear PPE such as respirator, welding equipment, gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection.

Pay range (Applicable to California) $18.59 USD – $25.10 USD hourly.
