Role Overview
This is a senior, hands‑on production role responsible for both high‑level assembly and final quality control. You are the last line of defense before products leave the shop. Your role is to ensure every system is built correctly, sealed properly, and meets performance standards. You prevent problems before they leave the shop. Your attention to detail reduces rework, callbacks, and warranty issues.

- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in glazing, aluminum system assembly, or related building envelope trade
- Ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings, elevations, and assembly details
- Demonstrated ability to identify defects, misalignments, and installation errors before final completion
- Experience working in a production or shop setting with quality and output expectations
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members to correct issues and maintain standards
- Holds themselves and others accountable to production standards, timelines, and quality requirements
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail
- Communicates clearly and constructively to support team performance and quality
- Maintains a strong commitment to safety and proper work practices at all times
- Approaches problems proactively and works to resolve issues before they impact production
- Lead the hands‑on assembly and glazing of aluminum systems, setting the standard for quality, accuracy, and pace on the production floor
- Complete first‑off and final inspections to ensure all units meet shop drawings, specifications, and company quality standards before shipping
- Review assemblies against shop drawings and hardware requirements, ensuring all components are properly installed and aligned
- Identify and correct issues early, preventing defects and rework from moving through production
- Provide hands‑on support and coaching to team members, reinforcing proper techniques and quality expectations
- Track recurring issues and contribute to improving processes, consistency, and overall production quality
- Maintain quality checklists and basic documentation to support accountability and performance
- Work closely with production and project teams to ensure output aligns with job requirements and timelines
