Press Brake Operator; 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Role:
Press Brake Operator (USA – Fontana, CA). Responsible for operating press brake machines to shape, bend, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates according to specifications. Reports to the Production Manager.

Key duties include:

• Operate press brake to manufacture parts from sheet metal or metal plates.
• Prepare, set up, and adjust press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
• Ensure sufficient raw materials and produce in compliance with quality standards.
• Measure and align materials; inspect finished pieces for compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance on the press brake.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating a press brake machine.
• At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work (preferred).
• Ability to safely operate press brake controls.
• Ability to follow instructions and read product plans, blueprints, and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer and math skills.

• Physically able to operate press brake; prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Must lift 35 pounds at a time.
• Must wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection) while working on the production floor.

Hourly: $21.61 - $29.18 USD (California applicable).
