Position Summary

The Brewery Production Technician will assist with all aspects of brewery production, including brewhouse operations, cellar work, packaging, cleaning and sanitation, and general brewery support. The ideal candidate has previous professional brewery experience and is comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist with brewhouse operations, including milling/mashing-in, wort production and brew day activities.
  • Perform cellar duties including:
    • CIP and sanitation procedures
    • Yeast handling and harvesting
    • Dry hopping
    • Transfers
    • Carbonation
    • Fermentation monitoring
  • Operate and assist with packaging activities, including
    • Canning line operation
    • Keg cleaning and filling
    • Quality checks during packaging runs
  • Maintain accurate production records.
  • Assist with inventory management and material handling.
  • Follow all safety, quality and sanitation procedures.
  • Keep production areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with general brewery operations as needed.
Qualifications Required
  • Previous professional brewery production experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: brewing, cellaring, packaging, canning line operation.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work independently and remain productive with minimal supervision.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred
  • Experience on a commercial brewhouse.
  • Experience with canning lines.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with brewery safety and quality programs.
