Ecolab is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team in City of Industry, CA. As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be responsible for accurate material handling, driving for the packaging lines, staging and removing material, completing all paperwork and coding, storing items in the proper places, updating the computer inventory system, ensuring received goods are checked for damage, and transporting pallets or individual containers of finished goods to storage area using forklift, pallet dolly or other equipment as required.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Drive for packaging lines, which includes staging and removing material.
• Work as a team and share job responsibilities with other FTOs, Logistics Associates, and Material Handlers, as needed. Act as a team player. Cover for mixer drivers during breaks or as needed.
• Help clear pallets from the wrappers at the front dock.
• Transport pallets or individual containers of finished goods to storage area using forklift, pallet dolly, or other equipment, as required.
• Load delivery trucks based on pick lists and shipping order. Follow regulations for the loading and transport of chemical products.
• Accurately and promptly complete documentation, either on paper, via scanner, or by entering data into computer.
• Track distribution and quality data as requested.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform salvage/recoup activities per standard operating procedures if needed.
• Record and track safety, quality and productivity in accordance with plant and departmental goals.
• Participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• Care for fork truck and/or batteries as required. Position Details Plant

Minimum Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse
• 2 years of experience operating Raymond brand stand-up reach forklifts
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with TPM
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English language
• No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Physical Requirements of Position
