USA Government Jobs - - Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and dispose of sludge and minor repair of facilities and equipment;
Monitor computer screens to ensure correct plant cycling and parameter settings;
Coordinate with other operators the maintenance, calibrations, and repair of flow meters, chart recorders, chlorinators, tank level indicators, transducers, dissolved oxygen meters, and pH meters;
Maintain and repair motors, a sludge collection drive mechanism, comminutors, blowers, air diffusers, gear boxes, airlift and centrifugal pumps, timer controls, and flow metering system;
Ensure compliance with state and federal permit and certification requirements
