The Production Technician II is responsible for manufacturing a variety of gas chromatography (GC) columns and follows established procedures with moderate supervision. This role requires excellent organization, good time management, and strong attention to detail. It reports to the Production Manager and is part of the Production Team located in El Dorado Hills, CA and will be an on-site role.
In This Role- Process GC capillary columns, handle small volumes of chemicals/solvents, and follow SOPs for all critical processes. Verify/inspect materials and input data in AX/Access computer system. May perform recipe development under guidance of lead or manager.
- Maintain and repair the equipment as needed and identify solutions from established options. Help to solve routine problems encountered in production.
- Train in the manufacture of all standard, fused silica, liquid film columns and demonstrate acceptable yields. Cross‑train in other work areas as identified by business needs.
- 3+ years of production experience.
- High School diploma.
- Analytical thinking, problem solving and attention to detail.
- Associates degree or other certification preferred.
The hourly rate for this role is $20.43 - $25.00. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
