- Skillfully operating a variety of mobile equipment and tools essential for production and maintenance activities.
- Working closely with the plant operator to efficiently manage the movement of fibre from storage piles to the plant, ensuring smooth storage and production processes.
- Uphold the highest safety standards by strictly adhering to all relevant government regulations and corporate policies.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks and special projects, both inside and outside of equipment, as directed by your supervisor.
- Promptly report any safety incidents or infractions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives and quality control measures to enhance operational efficiency.
To excel in this vital role, you’ll need:
- A strong safety mindset is essential.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment; experience in this area is required.
- Equipment Operator certification and Level 1 First Aid Certification are assets.
- Ability to complete online and paper forms or basic checklists.
Adaptable to changes in work schedule and tasks. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
- Good mechanical aptitude is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills are required.
