Jr Calibration Tech Intern

Location: Chatsworth

Jr Calibration Tech Intern Johnson Service Group is an award-winning staffing company that is currently looking for a Test Technician to join our calibration team in Chatsworth, CA. We are looking for an entry-level candidate with some experience working with electronics to join our team in a fast-paced environment. This is a Temp-Direct job for an electronics company. Pay Rate: $22.00 HR

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs pre-calibration and calibration duties per the product specifications

Utilizes specialized pre-calibration software

All work reviewed and certified by minimum Calibration Technician III or Higher Performs error free production testing in an assigned area with limited cross functional interface

Measures and records of data per work instruction requirements and document nonconformance

Provides daily support to meet the production demand

Maintains a clean and safe work environment

Assists other Calibration Technicians and other departments, on an as needed basis

Performs other duties as assigned.

Professional

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in electromechanical assembly.

Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings.

Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot cable assemblies.

Advanced reading, writing and shop math skills.

Experience soldering miniature parts under a microscope.

Use of simple hand tools such as crimpers and ovens.

IPC-A-620 certification.

Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be accurate and organized with high attention to detail

Good communication, reading, writing, and math skills
