Our growing company is hiring an Production Assembler I in the Architectural Hardware Industry. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. We look forward to reviewing your resume.
The Production Assembler I is responsible for basic assembly work to assemble components as needed to customer orders and demands.
The Production Assembler I will be responsible for the following:
- Ability to use light powered electrical or mechanical tools for assembly
- To complete daily production tasks as in numbers of orders/units completed in a single working cell or processing line based on demands
- To read and follow company documents - safety rules, operating instructions, policies and procedures
- To perform additional duties as designed (i.e. 5S events, lean manufacturing, etc.)
The Preferred Candidate will have the following Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of raw materials, WIP, finish goods, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques used in manufacturing
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, and Word)
- High School Diploma/GED or above
- Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and attentive to details
- Good communication skills
Physical Job Requirements
- This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary (standing and/or seated) position more than half the time
- This position requires the ability to view computer monitors less than half the time
- The person in this position must be able to maneuver (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) up to 50 lbs
