Material Handler

Location: Cameron Park

Aerometals is looking to add the following position:

Material Handler Pay range: $22 - $26 hourly

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pmThe ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

Perform real time systematic transactions for receiving material and moving material.

Process material requisitions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.

Safely move material from one location to the next utilizing material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks or other equipment available.

Perform physical inventory counts and report results accurately.

Identify product by tagging or other methods to ensure traceability.

Ensure products in stores and inventory are adequately protected against damage and deterioration.

Maintain stores and inventory area organized and productive.

Manage production manufacturing problems with travelers.

Communicate concisely and effectively.

Perform other duties as required by the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Skills:

Strong knowledge of material management within a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards.

Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.

Exceptional organization, coordination, and time management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other ERP systems.

Ability to use and perform multiple data entry functions daily.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience:

1 year in receiving.

Training:
On the job training.
