CNC​/Manual Lathe Toolmaker — Injection & Extrusion Screws

Your Mission Create high-precision screws that power plastic manufacturing equipment. You’ll transform alloy steel, tool steel, and high-temperature alloys like Inconel into critical components ranging from about 1  OD x 20  long to 10  OD x 25' long.

How You’ll Execute At a Fryer CNC lathe with a Siemens control, you’ll handle setup, on-machine conversational programming, machining, deburring, and inspection. You’ll rely on prints and detailed instructions, yet the work is deeply interactive—adjustments are common, and restarting a program mid-operation is part of delivering exacting results.

A Quick Scenario You rough, measure, and notice a slight deviation. You recalibrate offsets, edit the conversational path, and restart mid-program to recover tolerances. You finish, deburr, verify dimensions, and move to the next one-off build. That’s the rhythm—precision, ownership, and adaptability.

Work Mix Most parts are single-piece builds; even  production  typically tops out n the workflow shifts, you may jump onto a conventional knee mill, a horizontal boring mill, or a manual lathe to keep projects moving.
