About the Job General Summary of Position

Performs a variety of support services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
  • Assists in maintaining office systems. Organizes and files information reports and correspondence.
  • Participates in meetings and on committee and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts as required.
  • Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Prepares bills for billers. Counts the number of bills totals each bill and logs by hospital for supervisor on a daily basis.
  • Responds to requests for information and assistance in a timely manner.
  • Sorts prioritizes date stamps and distributes all incoming mail for assigned area.
Minimal Qualifications Education
  • High School Diploma or GED Current enrollment required
Experience
  • Less than 1 year 6 months clerical/office experience preferred
Knowledge

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to sort organize and file.
  • Ability to provide customer service to diverse customer base.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
This position has a hiring range of

USD $18.40 - USD $29.74 /Hr.
