The Moniteau County R-1 School District (California, MO) is seeking applicants for the Assistant High School Principal position for the school year.
Successful candidates must possess strong administrative and instructional leadership skills, a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience, and demonstrate excellent skills in written and verbal communications. The Assistant Principal has major responsibilities in the following areas:
* Creating student-centered school climate
* Supervising classroom instruction, curriculum implementation, and student assessment
* Selecting, developing, and evaluating teachers
* Manage student discipline and attendance in the building
* Supervise school events
In addition, the candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with students, staff, and parents. Applicants must possess or be eligible for a Missouri Secondary Principal's Certificate. This is an 11-month position with benefits.
