SummaryOur Behavioral Health Technician serves in a direct care role with the primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Pyramid Healthcare in California, Maryland, offers outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) for men and women with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, co-occurring disorders, and problem gambling. We also provide psychiatric services for clients who require medication management!
Pay$15 before shift differentials.
Shift Options- 2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, usually including 1 weekend day in the weekly schedule
- 1st Shift differentials: (Saturday and Sunday) $1.00
- 2nd Shift differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.00, (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50
- 3rd Shift Differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.50, (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50
- Complete the intake process with new clients into the program
- Maintain client documentation
- Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
- Coordinate client activities
- Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
- Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
- Assist with the dietary needs of clients
- Complete all required trainings
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred
