MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Service Now Architect to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is a hybrid role with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. The Service Now Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions. You will be responsible for defining the technical architecture, ensuring system scalability, and guiding the development team through complex integrations and custom application builds.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Lead the architectural design and technical governance for the Service Now platform, ensuring total alignment with organizational objectives.
* Design and develop complex workflows, business rules, and custom applications utilizing JavaScript and Service Now APIs.
* Coordinate with stakeholders and internal teams to navigate system requirements, deliver quality technical solutions and ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of Service Now solutions
* Oversee system integrations and data flows between Service Now and external enterprise systems.
* Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline development life cycles and platform administration.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams to ensure the successful execution of Service Now projects.
* Stay current with Service Now platform advancements and emerging trends to drive innovation.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent (6 additional years of relevant experience)
* 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Service Now architecture and development.
* Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
* Significant experience designing enterprise-scale (1k+ users) Service Now solutions and navigating complex system requirements.
* Proven expertise in full-stack Service Now development, including Integration Hub, Service Portal, and custom application creation.
* Ability to create and communicate complex technical documentation and architectural diagrams to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Service Now Certified Professional, specifically as a Certified Application Developer (CAD) or System Architect.
* Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist in IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM).
* Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist in Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM)
* Motivated self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead remote teams through organizational transformation. Security Clearance Requirements:
* Current/Active Secret Clearance Required.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
* The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
