Location:

135 National Business Parkway, Annapolis Junction, MD, with up to 1 day per week of telework.

Salary:
The typical annual salary range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000 USD.

• Have at least eight (8) years of experience in Dev Ops development/engineering such as installing and configuring software; managing servers, networks, technology tools; monitoring and maintaining systems for required levels of security, performance, and accreditation; and troubleshooting issues and outages.
• Have at least eight (8) years of experience in Dev Ops technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, ELK.
• Have at least eight (8) years of experience in scripting such as Terraform, Ansible.
• Familiarity with developing Dev Ops for Microsoft Windows or UNIX/Linux/Centos family of operating systems.
• Understand technical writing and have familiarity with technical documents in support of a software development project.
• Efforts will focus on Dev Ops engineering of a modernization effort to converge NSA's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.
• Deploy applications; install and configure complex software; manage network servers and technology tools; monitor and maintain the system for required levels of performance; and troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4‑6 weeks).
• Staff may charge four additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.
• Work location is a combination of 135 National Business Parkway, Annapolis Junction, MD and up to 1 day per week of telework as project tasking allows.

Required technical skills:

• Linux
• AWS, MASH, and VMs
• Docker Swarm
• Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g., Git Lab CI/CD)
• Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
• Ansible scripting and development
• Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology
• Git
• Minimum eight (8) years of Dev Ops experience

Clearance Level: Top Secret. Applicants must have an active Top Secret clearance. Polygraph must be completed within the last seven years. We cannot accept CCA candidates for this position.

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Allowable substitutions: four (4) years of Dev Ops experience for a Bachelor's degree; two (2) years for a Master's degree.
